Opening Sequence To A Movie

I have looked through some introductions of a movie, to gather information and ideas to help create my opening sequence. I have been impressed by the work of David Fincher, who is an American Director and directed the following three films:

• Se7ven
• The Fall
• Panic Room

The opening sequences for all three films are superb, they all contain the same style and approach. The films are different to many other opening sequences. All three films show that they have been made in the United States by the clever use of imagery. Fincher also does not give a way too much of the story plot in his opening sequence. The opening consists of a slow pace of orchestral music that fits in perfectly with slow paced camera shots that are used.
